How experienced are you? 

Pop of Ages' musicians are not new to the performance industry and are all seasoned performers in their own right, having worked with numerous legendary artistes including The Scissor Sisters, Sir Tom Jones,  Dame Shirley Bassey,  Jools Holland, Jamie Cullum, Spandau Ballet, Gary Kemp,  Level 42, Peter Grant, Dire Straits, Supergrass, Super Furry Animals, Jonnie Marrs, Kyle Eastwood,  The Hollies, The Motown Show, Joe Longthorne Show, Incognito and Martha & the Vandelas.

Pop of Ages have performed at many prestigious UK venues as well as making appearances on International stages including Egypt, Cuba and Gambia.

Can I pick my own band line-up?

Yes, absolutely! Our uniquely adaptable band enables you to choose whatever best suits your own preference, budget, event and venue requirements. Choose from the following sizes and line-up options;  

3 piece Band		male lead vocalist, female keyboard player with lead vocals & lead guitar (drums on backing)
4 piece Band  #1		as 3 piece band + live drums
4 piece Band  #2		as 3 piece band  + saxophone
5 piece Band		as 3 piece band + drums & saxophone
6 piece Band		as 3 piece band + drums, sax & trumpet

What music do we play?

The band performs classic hits from the 60's to the present day.  We include hits from pop, rock, motown, soul, funk, disco, country, blues, Latin, R & B, electro-pop and ballads. With the advantage of having fantastic male & female lead vocals, our extensive and varied setlist caters for all ages and musical tastes. You can be absolutely sure that guests of all ages will enjoy our music and will be dancing and singing all night. 

Show Formats

You can choose from 1 x 60 minute, 2 x 45 minute sets, 1 x 90 minute,  2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 minute sets. Our sets are lively, exciting, dynamic and full of enthusiasm, regularly updated with new material and ideas to keep things fresh.  In particular, the band have spent a great deal of time and effort tailoring our shows to suit weddings and private parties, of which we play at least 100 per year, as well as entertaining and delighting audiences at larger corporate events with a vast array of musical styles and genres to cater for everyone's musical tastes.

We will take great care to work closely with all our clients to ensure complete satisfaction before and during your event. All bookings are fully contracted, we of course have Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is regularly maintained and annually PAT tested.

We are happy to recommend the best possible selection of songs based on your requirements, and will liaise with your venue and any other contacts to ensure smooth running on the day and that all technical requirements are met.
