band and extend your evening's entertainment.
In
our experience a combination of great live music from Pop of
Ages with one of our top Discos guarantees a fantastic party
and is the best way to ensure all music styles, tastes and on
the spot requests are catered for.
Please note we can only provide a Disco if the band are
booked for the same event. |

Why book a disco & DJ though Pop of Ages ?
Over the last 18 years, the members of the band have worked with literally
hundreds of different Discos - some were good, others truly awful, but a

small number were excellent.
We contract the select few who are fully

By only using one sound system and
lighting rig, overall costs can often be reduced
If your space is limited, only one sound system takes up less
dance floor space - providing a safer and tidier environment for your guests due
to less light stands, tripods, PA Speakers etc.

If you are organising a large function for over 300 guests,
equipment can be combined to produce an impressive sound and light show
without having to hire in a specialist company.

Making the
right choice
How many times have you been to a party and the Disco has
been disappointing or has even spoilt the occasion? Or
observed the lazy DJ who puts on pre-recorded sequences of
music and disappears until the party's nearly over? These
nightmare scenarios do happen and can be due to many
factors, but mainly because the DJ himself did not have the
necessary experience, equipment or skills required.
Too many special occasions are ruined by amateur Discos with
excessive volume, poor sound systems, the wrong choice of songs or DJs with no
personality. We've even witnessed 'the friend of a friend' who entertained
guests with records from his own personal collection without reading the crowd
or knowing what music makes a party truly successful..... this resulted in an
empty dance floor, many guests leaving early and some very
upset clients.
High quality DJs should not judge you on your musical tastes
or preferences, playing what YOU want blended with classic
hits and popular disco tunes that suit the occasion and

performing at a wide variety of functions. They are customer focused
with the ability to read audiences plus a friendly outgoing personality.
Professional audio and lighting equipment is

records/cds from all decades of music.
