Kirstie - Musical
Director / Keyboards / Vocals:
After gaining her Honours Degree
in Music and LTCL Diploma, Kirstie worked as a recording session artist
and performed with several professional bands as both lead female vocalist
and keyboard player. She has been performing in public from the age of 14
playing all genres including Jazz, Swing, Classical, Soul, Rock and Pop.
Kirstie is a College
Lecturer and Vocal Coach in Performing Arts as well as performing in the
Pop of Ages Party Band. She personally orchestrates and programs the
additional instrumentation on computerised midi file required for the
band’s performance and as a talented classically trained pianist, she also
provides beautiful
cocktail piano music at wedding
receptions, dinner dances, private parties and corporate events,
Her musical talent,
outstanding keyboard skills, powerful & wide-ranging rich voice and
charismatic stage presence adds a special quality to Pop of Ages that is
simply unrivalled.

Dave
- Guitars / Vocals / Sound Engineer:
Dave has been playing
in cover bands since the age of 18 and honed his skills at the Guitar
Institute of Technology, London. He is a seasoned professional
guitarist having played just about every type of contemporary music
including Jazz, Soul, R & B, Country, Blues, Rock, Funk and Pop.
His
natural talent, technique and flexibility allow him to recreate the
authentic guitar textures and sounds required for a Pop of Ages
performance. He also provides a third vocal which provides the band with
great harmonies.
His experience as a studio technician
means the overall audio production quality of the band will be of the
highest professional standard.

Marc
- Lead & Harmony Vocals:
New to the 'Pop of Ages' line up for 2008 Marc is a
young, talented & charismatic lead vocalist
He has
been singing from a very young age and moved on to study
BTEC Performing Arts where he had lead roles in musical theatre
productions including Moulin Rouge and Jesus Christ
Superstar.
Marc provides superb lead and
harmony vocals. His outstanding high quality voice is
suited to all types of pop, rock, soul and ballads.
Combined with a commanding stage presence and friendly personality
Marc always deliverers an outstanding stage performance
full of fun & energy. |

Mat
-
Saxophone & Percussion
:
Mat is one of the countries leading
saxophone players. During the summer of 2007 Matt
performed in the brass section of the Scissor Sisters UK tour playing to
audiences of up to 25 thousand culminating in 3 sell out performances at
the O2 arena. Other work includes touring theatres with various
shows and gigs with Peter Grant & Joe Longthorne.
His musical talent and flair adds a very classy edge to a
Pop of Ages performance and provides that unmistakable sound of live
brass.
Matt performs when the Pop of Ages 4 piece
band is engaged: If he is not available we
have plenty of other superb sax players we can call on.

Pop of Ages mainly perform as a 3 piece band
and will always feature Kirstie, Dave & Marc. When the four piece band is engaged we add saxophone.
We ensure each of our singers & musicians
has a professional deputy (who has worked with the band before) available
to perform at late notice should unforeseen circumstances arise, which is
extremely rare but could happen. Having this flexibility and depth of
talent provides choice and peace of mind to our clients.
For further peace of mind, all bookings are
fully contracted and include public liability insurance. All equipment is
PAT test certified.
